WHAT Our Clients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
- Who pays for the service – investor or portfolio company?
There are a number of commercial models that can work – the most common one is one of a strategic partnership. This is where we partner with venture capitalists, family offices and private equity firms who then require (as a condition of their investment) that the portfolio companies must take on Cyber-as-a-Service with CyPro to help reduce their cyber and privacy risks.
The portfolio company pays for the service and get preferential commercials through the strategic partnership.
- Will they be assigned a dedicated vCISO or vDPO?
Yes. Each portfolio company will get assigned a dedicated vCISO and vDPO who will get to know the ins and outs of your portfolio and the companies within it.
- Will people be based on-site?
Absolutely. Typically, our team spend on average 2 days per month on-site with each client, but we can tailor our virtual/physical presence to your specific needs.
- How much does Cyber-as-a-Service cost?
It depends upon the size and complexity of the organisation in your portfolio and level of coverage you want us to have. However, CyPro’s Cyber-as-a-Service typically costs between £4,500 – £12,000 per month – considerably less than the cost of employing a full time in-house Cyber Security team, CISO and DPO within each portfolio company.
