Connor Burton

Accreditations:
A graduate of the University of Exeter with an LLB in Law, Connor is transitioning into cybersecurity, currently studying toward CompTIA Security+.
Connor has designed, built, and deployed a live security scanning platform used by real businesses. Along the way, he identified and resolved genuine security flaws within his own product, and learned first-hand what it takes to build something trustworthy enough for others to rely on — giving him a practical understanding of both building and breaking security systems. He also continues to develop a simulated security environment as an ongoing extension of his studies.
His background gives him a real edge at the intersection of law and cybersecurity — a strong grasp of regulatory and compliance frameworks, alongside direct experience handling sensitive client data responsibly. This lets him see security not just as a technical problem, but as a legal and business risk clients need to genuinely understand. This background also sharpened his research, analytical, and communication skills, all of which shape how he approaches and explains security work to non-technical audiences.
Connor is committed to continuous learning and looks forward to growing his expertise while helping organisations build real, lasting resilience.
